Roxborough is located in Douglas County about 30 minutes southwest of downtown Denver, in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains.

Chatfield State Park 1,423-acre lake is popular for boating, water skiing, sailing, fishing, swimming, camping, and many more activities all year round.
